We are excited for our cousins and grandparents to get here today! On Sunday we talked with the boys about all the jobs that needed to be done on Monday in anticipation of our guests arrival. Right before lights out Tanner came downstairs with a pen and paper in hand. He asked us what jobs needed to be done on Monday. He wrote them all down and then retired to bed. When Chad went to check on the boys that night he saw that the all had their clothes laid out for the next day (not a normal thing)!
The next morning we woke up to the boys running around cleaning. They had gotten up, dressed themselves in the clothes they set out, had breakfast and were cleaning! Tanner was orchestrating the whole thing to make sure all the jobs were getting done. Every time a job was completed Tanner would cross the job off the list. What a wonderful early Christmas present!!!! They all worked really hard and didn't complain one bit. Our house looks beautiful - Thanks boys!!!

That is so awesome! I love it.
Merry Christmas!
Oh WOW. I want my children to be like yours when they grow up. What a great kid Tanner is growing up to be. I noticed that the other day, when he came up all smiles and struck up a conversation with me about baby Zoe. He was so charming and sweet to her. Way to go Brooke and Chad! All that parenting really DOES pay off!
