On the Road again

Sunday morning we left Lindsay's house bright and early.  We wanted to get an early start because we had a long drive home.  We have been really lucky because the boys do a great job in the car.  Often times we will watch movie to pass the time, but this time we were able to watch conference.  Technology is amazing!

Before we left on our trip, I printed out conference worksheets for the boys to do in the car.  The boys loved the worksheets.  They really help the boys get more out of conference!

When we pulled into town the last speaker, President Monson, was just finishing his talk.  We drove a couple more blocks to hear the end of it.  It was the perfect ending to our drive. As we drove around we noticed what a beautiful day it was outside, so we decided to go on a walk down by the river.  We quickly emptied out the car and headed to the river.  We had a wonderful walk and enjoyed watching the sun set over the river!

We had a wonderful trip!  I love family vacations!!  It is nice to be home though.  I always enjoy sleeping in my bed after a long trip!
