Austin had a nice birthday this year. Time is sure going by quickly. Austin is growing into such a big boy. He always had a bright smile on his face and is loved by everyone he meets. He is also really intelligent. Everyday I am impressed by something that he says to me. He makes us all laugh and smile. He is very kind and giving. Almost everyday after lunch he gets his bag of treats out and shares one with me!
Austin's day started off with a play date with a good friend. We blew up some balloons and they had a ball playing around with them. I love seeing the smiles! They almost an hour playing with the balloons.
When Chad and the boys got home we began the birthday celebrations with dinner. Austin loves pizza and he loves Mickey Mouse, so it was Mickey pizza for dinner. Austin was really excited when he saw his own personal Mickey pizza!
After dinner we headed to another one of Austin's favorites - the local high school football game. We have been going to several of the football games this year and Austin loves them. I'm sure part of it is everyone shares their treats with him (plus we usually get popcorn), but he also loves to cheer the team on! Whenever anyone starts to cheer, Austin raises his voice with them. It's really fun to watch.
After cheering on the team Austin had just enough strength left to open his presents and have cupcakes and ice cream.
Following the theme I made Mickey Mouse cupcakes for Austin. He was pretty excited when he saw them!
It was a nice day! We love Austin and we are so glad he is part of our family.
