Our cousins arrive!!

Everyone was excited for Christmas Eve, not just because the big guy would be coming the next day, but because our cousins arrived!  We haven't seen them in at least two years, so we were anxious to finally see them again!

It was fun to see how much everyone had grown.  Mason especially had grown (way up).  He is the tallest member of the family now, probably in the extended family as well!!

It's always fun to see the kids pick up right where they left off with each other.  It amazes me, but I love it!

Christmas Eve night was a lot of fun!  We brought in some of our favorite foods from Zingerman's Deli and had lots of yummy treats!

Once we were done filling our tummies, we retired to the family room for the traditional opening of the Christmas Eve present.

This year Nana and Papa gave all of the kids a present to open.  All of the kids received matching BYU Jerusalem shirts!  They are pretty cool.  Instead of a cougar on top of the BYU it is a camel!  Love it!!  The kids thought they were pretty cool!

After the gifts, we sat down to listen to Papa read the Christmas Story from the Bible.  It was wonderful to listen to him read while I remembered my time in Jerusalem!  We also watched a new movie called "Only a Shepard".  It was a really nice movie and it added to the spirit!

Arie brought some reindeer food with her from California and she was pretty anxious to spread it out on the lawn.  The little kids quickly put on their coats and headed out to the back porch to throw the food over the railing.  It was pretty fun to watch!  They were very thorough!

Just before bed we had a surprise visitor - Santa Claus!

The younger kids were pretty excited to see him!

Ashlyn wasn't so sure about him, so she stayed with Nana the whole time.

The big kids did come up and say hello to Santa, but it was the little kids that were the most fun to watch!

Ashlyn did warm up a little and shook Santa's hand before he left!

Just before Santa headed out the door, Arie rushed up and handed him a little note!  Such a cutie!!!

Such a fun Christmas Eve!  Now off to bed!!
