Snowbirds

One of the reasons we came on this trip was because the boys said they wanted to go skiing again for their Christmas presents.  We were all for it and we even talked our cousins into coming with us!

As I mentioned before, there wasn't much snow when we arrived, so we weren't able to go to Sundance.  We looked at the other resorts and found that Snowbird had a lot of snow and it wasn't too far away!  So, the day after Christmas, we all loaded up (except Mason who was sick) and headed up the mountain!  The drive up the canyon was beautiful!  The snow was so beautiful on all of the pine trees.

We had a great day skiing!  It was a bit of a rough start with Austin.  He had insisted on getting poles and they proved to a nuisance.  Chad soon realized the mistake and took the poles away.  Once the poles were gone, Austin was zooming down the mountain like a pro!

All of the kids did a great job on the slopes!  Arie tried skiing for the first time and she did great!  She was begging to go again!  Zac also did great on his snowboard!  We just had a blast hanging out together!!
