Father's Day

This year for Father's Day we got Chad some barbells. We were excited to give them to him, but we had a little problem. They came in a box that weighed about 103 pounds. Where do you hide a present like that? The linen closet of course!

Trevor and I hauled the box upstairs to the closet, then rearranged pillows and blankets to hide the box. The only thing left to do was figure out how to wrap it and get it downstairs on Father's Day. Tanner came up with a great solution - a scavenger hunt. Tanner wrote little clues and sent Chad on a hunt all over the house. It was worked out perfectly and it was pretty funny to watch!

Chad was excited to find the barbells, but almost before he could lift one out of the box the boys were trying to grab them. Chad was nice and let the boys give the barbells a try.

We are very blessed to have Chad at the head of our household. He is an awesome father. His priority is his family. He loves spending time with the boys. I am thankful they have such a wonderful loving father!
