On the road again

We had a great time in California with Chad's family!  It was wonderful to be together as a family again.  We hope it won't be long until it can happen again.  As we headed out we were greeted with a warm goodbye, a beautiful sunrise over the water!

We made a quick stop at the Salt Flats to let the kids see what they were all about.  It was pretty hot and the sun was really shinning, so it was very bright.  The boys and I hopped out of the car anyway.  Some of them got to work writing their names with little rocks!  They thought it was pretty cool!  My family and I would stop at the same spot when I was little.  It was fun to take my boys there and create memories for our family!

We traveled most of the day and we were glad to finally see the mountains near my parents home!  When we got there we were greeted by Nana and Papa and the Krey family!  We unloaded all of the bikes from the car and filled up my parents garage!

We spent the rest of the day hanging out.  Ashlyn was introduced to her cousins and did pretty well with letting them hold her (she's a momma's girl)!
