I remember going bowling when I was growing up. It was a lot of fun. One of the best parts was getting to wear the "cool" bowling shoes and being able to pick out my own bowling ball. The boys were no different. I think they liked picking out their bowling ball the most. Several times throughout our game whenever someone was missing, we would find them over at the bowling balls. Austin didn't get to pick a ball, but he loved pushing the balls back and forth.

Once the game started Chad took charge of teaching the boys how to bowl. Kaden was the only boy who had been bowling before, so Chad had his work cut out for him. He showed the older boys, then they were able to bowl by themselves.

Tanner was a little unsure at first, but by the end he had bowled some spares!

Kaden was excited to be bowling. He kept the game moving so his turn would come around quicker. Kaden also bowled some spares!

Trevor did a great job as well. Trevor bowled some spares and he was the only boy to bowl a strike!

Devon needed a little more help. Chad helped Devon for the first couple of rounds, but by the middle of the game Devon was bowling on his own.

Devon was pretty funny to watch. he would stroll up to the line and then granny bowl. After he released the ball he would lay down on the floor and watch the ball as it rolled down the lane. After the ball hit the pins he would jump up and celebrate! It was so cute! He's such a silly guy.

Austin didn't want to be left out, so he was my bowling buddy. He bowled first, then I would try to knock down the remaining pins. We made a great team. He wanted to do it all by himself, he is, after-all, a big boy and that's what his big boy brothers were doing. Austin got a big kick out of watching the ball roll down the lane and knock over the pins. He really enjoyed bowling!

Chad was the super bowler. He won first place. The boys were impressed with how well he could bowl.

The boys are all really good at bowling on the Wii. I think they were a little surprised at how much harder it is to bowl in real life! It was a great evening! The boys are looking forward to going again soon.
