As promised . . . Devon's Birthday Celebration

Devon had a fun birthday this year. For several months now Devon has been asking me if it is my birthday. He knows that after my birthday it will be his birthday. So the day after my birthday he kept saying it was his birthday. Well, finally we got to his birthday and he let everyone know about it!



We woke him up with breakfast in bed. Which, according to tradition, gets brought back downstairs to eat with the whole family (usually on the floor next to the kitchen). He enjoyed eating his waffle on the floor! His birthday was a pretty ordinary day, but to him it was fabulous! One thing he requested for his birthday was to have his hair in a mow hawk! I must say he looks pretty cool with that hairdo!



We all love Devon and we are so glad he is part of our family. Here are some things that make Devon a special part of our family:

He has the cutest smile/laugh (especially when we are trying to discipline him).

He is a really good big brother. I will often find him helping, playing with, or protecting Austin.

He still loves to sit on our laps to watch a movie.

He is easy going and loves to hang out with his brothers.

He is a little mischievous, but very smart.

He is growing up to be a fine young man. We love you Devon!!
