In the summer of 2008 we took a trip to the Smokey Mountain National Park with Shannon & Scott and their family. The trip was the last time that we would see them before they headed across the pond to England. We all had a great time together.
It seems like every vacation has certain memories that stick out more than others. The memory of this trip that sticks out for me is of Madeleine and Trevor spending virtually every waking moment together. Whether we were just hanging around in the cabin, hiking through the mountains or strolling through Gatlinburg, Madeleine and Trevor were inseparable. It was fun to see them get along so well and Shannon was able to get several cute pictures of them together.
What is amazing is that after spending a year and a half on opposites sides of the world, they fell right back into their old routine and spent the majority of the time over Christmas together. It is cute to see them together. We are glad that they are such good friends and hope that they can continue their friendship over the years.
