Awards, Awards, and More Awards

Thursday night was Pack Meeting. Tanner and Kaden were excited to go because they were getting many awards and it was Talent Show Night.

Kaden has really enjoyed Cub Scouts. Since day one he has rearing to go. As soon as he was officially eight he started right in and earned his Bobcat in a couple of days. The only problem was that baseball started. Most of the pack meetings fell on nights when Kaden had a game or we happened to be out of town. As a result Kaden hadn't received his Bobcat badge yet. So several months later he finally got to receive his awards. He was very excited and so were we!

Tanner is in his last months as a Cub Scout. He has been working really hard to finish all of his requirements to achieve his Webelos Badge. All of his hard work paid off and he was able to receive his Webelos Badge at this pack meeting. Tanner didn't always want to do his Cub Scouts, but he is very glad that he did. His next goal is to earn five more activity badges (for a total of 20) and finish his requirements for his Arrow of Light. Tanner is very excited to earn his Arrow of Light. We know you can do it Tanner! Keep up the good work.

Tanner and Kaden both participated in the Talent Show. Tanner was the first one to perform. He chose to play "When the Saints Go Marching In" on the Recorder. He did a really good job! Kaden thought and thought about what he could do. He finally decided to do a card trick. He also did a good job. Part of the fun was watching the different looks Kaden would get on his face! I love these boys! Good job guys!!
